My leukemia's back.

That she is, a cute little girl.

How many grandchildren do you have Phil?
Is this the only one?

Is there a thread anywhere for grandchildren?
I tend to make every thread about my grands, Spook! Ask anyone!

Cute picture, Phil! She's a doll!

Rachel, Ken was on Metformin for awhile. But watch your labs carefully. It can raise he!! with your liver enzymes. It also turns out to be the cause of both of his serious bouts with acute pancreatitis. NOT saying that will happen to you, of course, because everyone is different, but just be aware.

Just wanted to share this.....what a little fighter!

Tomorrow is International Childhood Cancer Day...please spare a thought and a prayer for all of these kids, no matter what kind of battle they are fighting. They deserve no less.

will do Blooie.....they definitely deserve all the good they can get. When I was sick and in the hospital the children's ward always broke my heart.....Phil

Morning all!

I need to get a pic of my new rooster, and of my Valentine's gift. It was a good day yesterday!

Blooie, the pcp is being very good about monitoring my labs on the metformin. My kidneys have been wonderful through all the chemo, etc, so I'm hoping they continue to hold out well. My liver's been unhappy at times and they've talked about doing a biopsy, but it's always just improved with time. I did cut out my evening dose last night and felt much better last night and this am. Took it with breakfast this am and we'll see how it goes. Honey takes I think 2 500mg xr tabs every night, no stomach issues. Weird how it does for different folks.

Ashley's looking so good! How is treatment going? I haven't seen an update for a while.

I'm all discombobulated this morning. Honey had an early visit to a patient that's getting antibiotic injections every 12 hours, so he was up and gone at 6:30. Then back home cause he doesn't have any appointments until 10:30, so we did some chores. It's President's Day, so The Locusts are home, but one is still sleeping and the other just got up....I'm having a hard time figuring out what day it is

. Workday, schoolday, weekend, what is it?

We need that cold emoticon! We hit a high of 11°.
Outpost, I am going to be laughing for awhile on that one!
Rachel, My DH is on half that dose. He said he didn't get nausea. But then he has an iron stomach. For him that stuff really does control it well.
Ok, here a ? for you all: I need new shoes. They are on sale. I could buy 2 pairs or 1 pair and 3 POL hens. What do you think?
Sorry for the heart failures! The gall bladder surgery isnt horribl. Recovery can take a bit. Heart on the other hand takes a good while to recover. Just go slow so there isn't a recovery relapse.
Hey, do we have a shivering Valentine's emoji?
You can only wear 2 shoes at a time. But, laying hens??? You'll need plenty of eggs to feed your family while wearing your new shoes.

Rachel....I don't know why your liver is giving you fits.....But that is where my G vs H manifested it's self. Biopsy was a piece of cake....hope for the best......took four years for my liver to straighten out....good thing I didn't drink back then....:)

hbh, one pair of shoes and 3 laying hens or duct tape on the old shoes and 6 laying hens.
I wish! But my fat pad blew out in July last summer and that aggravated the back, leg and heel nerves as well. It hasn't healed back and don't know if it ever will. So new shoes as soon as they start not supporting me even with orthotics and heel cups and Rock tape! Hard part is they are on sale.. but we need hens. I need a see saw emoji...
Which one of you sent more snow and cold this way??? I will gladly mail it back to you!
Rachel, What hatchery in Ohio were you mentioning about recently?? I think I looked at them but now can't remember the name. They had an "adopt me special"???

Blooie, What a wonderful photo! Gladly will pray today for all struggling or recovering from childhood cancer.
Ghost, Suzie and anyone else struggling, We're here for you!
