My leukemia's back.

Suzie, I'm sorry you're having the frustration of feeling like you're not being heard, in addition to the physical problems. I can handle the physical stuff, but when I feel the medicals aren't listening to me is when I melt down. It's my body, by golly, and if I know there's something wrong, there's something wrong.

Pinky, my sis had gastric bypass and has some absorption issues, mostly well managed but she does have to supplement some. Has anyone talked to you about taking vitamin C with your iron or iron rich meals? Last I'd heard, it helps the absorption rate of the iron, as that's one of the things it's hard for the body to pull out of food or supplements. I've also heard cooking in cast iron helps....not sure if that's an old wive's tale or not

No one in my household has been sick lately, but the NP at the urgent care said there's bugs going around---aren't there always? Anyway, I'm feeling okay today and have the clearance to go ahead and get my tooth extracted tomorrow. It will be nice to have that sore spot inside my cheek heal up finally.

You know, I'd heard that about Vitamin C and cast iron, and didn't think about it until you mentioned it, Rachel!

DON'T you DARE get sick before that biopsy, and I mean it. (I'm using my stern voice and face - is it working?)

The stomach bug, norovirus has symptoms that go away in a day but the person is contagious for two weeks! You can get it from anywhere and most people do not know that they are contagious for that long.

Suzie....thanks for posting.....been missing you.....as you already know....come back to us soon.
I'll have Jeremy send some new pics of Alice for you......well I'll be thinking of you and keep you close to my heart.....get well soon....never give up.......Phil

Suzie, prayers for your healing, for you to get the right medical attention. For wisdom for your prayer providers, and compassion for your family and friends. Rachel, congrats on your 1 year anniversary. Prayers for your continued healing. For your G vs. H to calm down, and for your new immune system to grow strong and take over all of the needs for your body. You've come a long way, baby!!!

Meet the new babies!!! Meyer Hatchery packed them with a heat pad. DH picked them up at the post office. All 27 (I ordered 25+1 meal maker) are doing excellent so far. Now we have 124 chickens in all.

Yeah, Outpost! Enjoy those adorable chicks! We need more chick pics...
Suzie, Hang on. Don't lose hope. Remember hope is faith in what is not yet seen. I am hoping you have a better day tomorrow!
Phil, Thanks for your encouragement to others. It makes me smile.
Where's Ghost these days? NFL,Rnott & Bunnylady, How are you?

Yeah, remember the debate on shoes vs, eggs/chicks/hens a couple weeks back? Well, guess I am not getting new shoes this month! Just ordered 2 new hens-OE & Welsummer- for next Tuesday, then am going to set a dozen eggs hopefully next weekend?? Will need to drive 3 hours to get them as I don't want to ship them! And of course, not sure if I really want to wait a month for chicks! Thanks for posting on the ratios of Male vs. Female! May God have mercy on me and make it more females than males! Would like to sell 3 of the chicks to help cover the cost of the eggs. And any males will be sold or go to my elite freezer camp. For once it is relatively quiet around here other than daily living and bumps. (Goes and hides

before anything bad happens.)

Hi HBH, I bet you get more enjoyment from the chicks than you would have from the shoes...sounds like you made a good decision to me! Best wishes on getting lots of girls (but boys in an elite freezer camp aren't such a bad thing either).

Have yourself a good day!
