Kiddo, You need some serious

's and prayers. When people suffer there is no judging as to whom deserves the prayers and good wishes.
There is plenty to go around and walking and being comfortable -that is so so important.
Your mind must stay positive because the best healing comes from within.

Suzie, you are anything but a fraud. We have all missed you big time, and hope that you can get back to feeling well once again. Chronic pain is debilitating, and those who have never experienced it have no idea.

Suzie, I can't imagine why you would feel that JWB and Blooie's issues invalidate yours! Your issues are very real, and need to be dealt with .

Today, I got a bit of a shocker when I went for my Opthamology appointment. I literally never saw this one coming (pun intended). I have narrow angle glaucoma. The Doc said, "we can fix this for you today, at least in one eye." So, I had my first experience with laser surgery. Kind of like stabbing yourself in the eye with a pencil... twice. Actually, it wasn't so bad. The worst part of it was the shock of the diagnosis. But, at least she's not sending me for a brain CT scan to RO brain tumor! I'll go next week to get the other eye done. I'm hoping this will fix my migraines.
AMEN!! When my sister Linda had a ruptured aortic aneurysm and the emergency surgery hosed her kidneys permanently, she was suddenly going through dialysis 3 times a week and ended up with bypass surgery a couple of years later. (You remember that, right LG?) Anyway, we'd gone back to South Dakota for our annual trip, and she and I were talking. I mentioned having had to have another set of stents put in my leg arteries, but then I said, "But that sure isn't no big deal after all you've been through." She looked at me for a minute and replied, "You know, Diane, just because I've had it kinda rough does not minimize your struggles one bit." Yeah.

Oh, LG, I so hope this solves the issues. You've had a pretty rough go of it lately with the optical migraines and the severe headaches and wouldn't it be a true blessing if this was the answer to our prayers??

Well wouldn't it be great if it's just that easy to fix those headaches?

okay, we need not only a praying smilie, but a hands raised praise God smilie, for when prayers are answered.

I am overwhelmed by your heartfelt comments...I have said before and I will say it again for anyone who may have missed my feelings...

I have never felt so loved since my beloved parents passed away....they truly were my world..

I feel loved and cared for by you all here....I have never met any of you in person and yet I feel I know you all...I care for you and love you for your wonderful ways...

I have to go now as I am in floods of tears

Thank you all!

I hope that it fixes your problems....I didn't expect them to tell me I had glaucoma either.....I'm hoping they get me back on to see what my pressures are...I'm hoping mine is caused by prednisone.....:fl

What, brain tumors for everyone

?

I'm on a cooking day. I've bought 20 lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs and 20 lbs of ground beef that need to get processed and in the freezer. I also need to get some muffins made, The Locusts found the chocolate chips and if I don't use them they'll simply eat them from the bag. So, it's the kitchen for me today!

Since I use these posts to keep track of things, I'm going to throw on here that I'm trialing a decrease in my prednisone. Just a touch, I've been on 15 mg a day. Filled my planner for the next week and alternated 15 mg with 12.5 mg every other day. My sugars are getting more under control but I don't like taking so much insulin. My weight is starting to creep up a touch, and I really don't need that. Plus, I'm getting steroid skin. I'm bruising all the time, my arms look like I'm getting beat up by something. My leg muscles are getting weaker and I'm just tired of it. So, we'll see.

I hope everyone is doing well today, and someone has sunshine!
