My leukemia's back.

Well....I had a telephone call from one of my English friends and she and her Husband have offered to clean out and feed my ducks, chickens, geese, rabbits and also to give hay to my horses and donkeys...I am so humbled by their offer... Sally has cardio myopathy and has recently been fitted with a pacemaker and defibrilator...she is in her early 40's...so very sad! She loves my animals and always comes to visit armed with her wellington boots and gets stuck in helping...her Husband has suffered from emphysema and had had heart attacks...

I have told Phil of her offer as I will not be able to look after my animals for some weeks to come after my surgery...

I am overwhelmed once again... I am never one to ask for help but when it is offered it makes such a difference...

Have a wonderful day all of you!

What good friends Suzie. It's nice you won't have to worry about your animals while you're out of commission. Sometimes answers are just handed to us!

Wow, Suzie - what a blessing (both to you and to them, I'm thinking)! Sometimes it's just astonishing how the Lord provides!

And I gotta say this, just because I'm so tickled to finally be done with this project:

(imagine a drumroll here)

The chickens got moved into their new coop today!

That is some amazing new home for your chickens ...well done!

p.s. I do so love the flowers too...so very befitting for your "ladies"!

Thank you everyone...it was a relief to get my lab results today....I wasn't overly worried but it's always stressful until you get the all clear sign......Suzie glad you got a bit of help when you need it.....

You don't know just how much things like that weigh on your mind until the weight comes off, eh, Phil?

Glad the labs came out so good.

Thank you, Suzie.

So many of my "builds" have been purely functional; this time, I decided to put a little "fun" into it, too. My daughter helped with the painting - I don't think she's quite comfortable with the red door yet, but we were using leftover paint (I still don't know where some if it came from) and that's what we had. Our original idea was a bit more subdued, but I have to admit, it's cheerful!

Oh, oh....we all need to get together and road trip to France to take care of Suzie and her critters

Wait, something's wrong with that....road trip....to France....I swear I passed geography

Works from London--flight to London and the road trip to France.

And each and every one of you would be most welcome anytime...free holidays for all of you!

We should all have a get together here and celebrate life, our love for each other and thank the Lord for answering prayers....

My family are here on Rachel's thread in her fight for victory over the dreadful disease that she has now overcome...and to Little Lake Phil for his wonderful words of wisdom in giving such encouragement to Rachel... he knows better than any of us the enduring road back to great health....now that is a great reason to have a huge party!

Look forward to seeing you ALL here!!!!
