My leukemia's back.

It's funny---years ago I used to put things I wanted to hide up in high places. Now, they're all taller than me, so I hide things down low

. they don't like to bend over! The veggie crisper is a great place, and you're right, the seldom used pots and pans work well too. Maybe I'll save the bag from some frozen spinach next time I make lasagna and use it as a decoy, that's a great idea! I've also found I can stash a carton of Ben and Jerry's in a crevice in the chest freezer if I put a big ol frozen turkey on top of it.

Sheesh, those boys better never come on here and read this, I'm giving all my secrets away!
Rachel...your ideas are so like mine!

I hide my savoury treats and enjoy eating them when I am alone in the house... If Phil comes into the house while I am stuffing myself with cheese I mumble that I am in need of calcium...it has worked so far for me!

I prefer savoury to sweet...nuts, cheese and salted biscuits are my thing....yeah...I know that salt is not good for us BUT the taste is worth the risk to me!

Doing well, Suzie...more concerned about how you're doing!! Got my cardiology followup appointment tomorrow but think it's going to go very well.
Praying all is well with your cardiology follow up !

I had my appointment yesterday with the anaesthetist... all went well...so I am getting geared up now for next Tuesday...the anaesthetist did not know most of my medication...luckily the surgeon understands RA and all of the drugs I take...I stopped the Orencia two weeks ago and will not have any more until my foot is fully healed...my only concern is the anaesthetic as the first operation I had at this Hospital did not work...the surgeon started the operation and I screamed..my foot shot up in the air and it was patently obvious that the anaesthetic was ineffective...so I was dosed up with more! Had some cuts to my foot not at the operation site...scalpel cuts! Bit ouch but I am trusting that this will be relatively uneventful during the op.

I wish Nurse Rachel was here to look after me...!

Well, Nurse Rachel is actually going to be Nurse Rachel again!

Riverside called and offered me a position starting April 1st. It's a per diem, so no benefits, but that's okay for now. I can keep my Medicare for quite a while after I go back to work, but will probably get on Honey's insurance in October. They're very flexible on hours and are talking about sending me for training on the OASIS (the intake form we fill out for patients on Home Health), something I've wanted to get. I'me excited and nervous and I don't even know what, but I think this is going to be a good thing overall.

Now we just need to find a house!
