My leukemia's back.

Well it took me awhile, but I am finally caught up on the posts.:D We had a super crazy weekend but got a lot done. Seeds planted, house chores & started on landscaping.

Hbhoffman, I was worried, but I would understand:). I am excited about getting him though. So glad you did so good at the swap.

Blooie, pics of Kendra are priceless. She looks so happy:D

Suzie, I almost always have dinner done by 7pm. I plan it out. But, sometimes, it's free for all and we eat whatever, whenever. With DD being in 4th grade, I try to make her on some sort of schedule:D at least on school days.

You all have a good night.

:frow I took some photographs of the "burnished effect" saucepan...it still looks the same...will post a photograph soon...glad to know that I am not the only one that eats at unusual times!

How is it going in Michigan today? Do you know Wauwatosa W;. Michigan area? My cousin lives there...

I looked it up Suzie... It's near Milwaukee about 6 hours south of here....

Good morning everyone!

Suzie, those are some mammoth tree trunks in front of your place. Looking forward to seeing your renovation photos!

Those tree trunks are from an oak tree that had died, we did sell some to a local woodyard and the guy used it to make planks. We are lucky that we have our own wood here and any trees that fall are used...one of the poplar trees just missed our barn when it came down..it was about 80 foot high.

Lucky or what...?

Whew, you were lucky Suzie!

Refurbishment project of the stable block...all of this in the front area is to be modified and extended to include a new chicken coop, new duck and geese housing and three stables and stalls for my horses and donkeys...starting with a new roof when the weather permits...

Gonna take some time...!

And this is all because my husband is having to clean out the existing animal housing while I am incapacitated...! Maybe I will get the other foot operated on during the winter months so I don't have to get freezing cold cleaning out the animals...!

I will post photographs as and when he starts the work.
Sounds like you need to be out of commission more often, lol. Can't wait to see the progress!

Dandelions are one of my favorite flowers. They are so kid friendly. The flowers to pick, the seed heads to make a wish on. They were made especially for kids.

When she was 3 or 4, Little Diane started calling dandelions "dand-ill-ee-uns". We still do. She also called Johnny Jump-ups "Johnny Jumphoppers." We still call them that too! Funny how things kids say stick. Kenny called Kentucky Fried Chicken "Puffy Fried." Guess what? And you know that little bit of pop left in the bottom of the can that is never enough to drink but always enough to spill? My kids called that "fudlip". So it's "Anything left in that can, honey?" "Nope, just fudlip." Then once after a typical South Dakota thunderstorm, the sign at the local KFC had some sign damage - it read "ucky fried icken." Yeah, about summed it up!
