My leukemia's back.

3GE, you're now hired as my personal trainer. Get yourself out to Oregon post haste and help me get into shape

I'll take a look for an elliptical. All I know right off is a punching bag thing on a stick that's like a Weeble. It's right outside the bathroom door so I punch it every time I use the bathroom. Just once, though. I don't hang around for it to come back and whack me in the head

I have to say, I'd shed as much weight as I could, and then for 2,400 a year I'd be taking some Lasix or something to "help" me reach their goal

Ikr! But, I do have to work......lol! It's pouring down rain in huge buckets here now.:th. Forecast shows rain for 10 days straight.

JWB - $ 2,400 - that's a pretty good paycheck. For the short term cut carbs - if it is white, it's your enemy. Protein and vegetables and as much exercise as is possible. We are all pulling for you.

I am new to BYC and just saw this post! I had to comment because my 8 year old daughter is a leukemia survivor. I will keep you in my prayers! I am so thankful to all who donate blood, platelets and bone marrow! Now that my daughter's immune system is getting strong again we can play in the dirt with chickens again! We were involved in our local 4H, but this is our first time owning our own chickens. My husband gave them to me as a surprise gift in celebration of the rough couple of years we have had as a family. I was so happy I was in tears! We now finally get to start our "mini farm" that we have always wanted to. My daughter loves animals so much. She never plays with dolls, just animals lol! She has named her favorite chicken "Athena" which is fitting because my daughter is a warrior for sure ;)

Welcome to BYC. You've come to the cheer leading thread! Lots of good support here. Congrats on your daughter's success. Blood products are certainly life savers. I'd be a widow if not for 6 wonderful folks who gave an hour out of their busy lives to donate blood so my husband could survive his surgery and illness 22 years ago.
