My leukemia's back.

Saw a Dr. today and got the prednisone increased, contingent on the CSA level being therapeutic. She also did a chest X-ray for giggles and CYA, but I don't think it's going to show anything. 

My cell mate is acting like I'm Patient Zero or something. Seriously, she's a nurse with a background in communicable disease. She should understand the difference between something contagious and some immune triggered. I'm going to talk to my boss about moving offices. We're just not a great fit.

As far as co workers wearing perfume, that would get my dander up for sure. IMO, my right to breathe supersedes any one else's right to stink the place up.

You would think that a nurse would know the difference between your need for a germ free environment and the unlikelihood of them catching anything from you. Your co workers are a far greater risk to you. But, sometimes having a medical license does not ensure intelligence. I've heard nurses ask hubby if he needs to take insulin... after being told that he is s/p total pancreatectomy. Hello?????? Any one home??????

JWB--a window! I'm so jealous, I want a window. I'm glad things are going well for you.

Thankfully our office is a pretty scent-free zone. We just had a staff meeting about folks using those Scentsy things and the issues some folks have with them. I wouldn't mind them so much if I could pick the scent--some of those things are just nasty, and some do close the ol airway right off. But most of the office is pretty good. She just gets on my nerves. I think I'm going to find some earbuds so I can listen to KLOVE and keep my Positive Encouraging attitude

My calico bantam Cochin chicks finished hatching. Three hatched themselves, one kind of shrink wrapped and I helped it. It died today, though

. If these little buggers don't make it, I'm done with these birds. I've got a big order of bantams coming from MMM next week. Lots of chicks to house!

I don't know but it sure is nice for a change.....is reassuring if nothing else.
