My leukemia's back.

Sounds like a good idea to me LG!

Blessed to see several flocks of robins, about 60 wild turkeys (spread out over 3 flocks) and about 9 deer this morning.

DH just took me down to the golf course to show me some of the projects he's been working on. On the way there, we saw 6 deer standing on the frozen North Platte river. Beautiful (but frustrating to not have my camera).

Your flocks of robins reminds me of this guy...

Seems the robins definitely got the "migrate now" message in the last few days -- we have had hundreds pass through our yard, driving the kitties nuts (they are indoor only kitties) - poor boys spend all day at the windows chattering and trying to find a way to get through the glass.

Glass doors would be pointless - people would still open the door, glance around at the brimming shelves, and say, "there's nothing to eat in here!"

So true! Besides, they'd be hard to see through with all the finger and face prints......
No kidding! Can I borrow them? I need to find Ken's tie with the cupcakes on it (DON'T ask) and haven't run across it yet. He's gonna think I tossed it, which I've been tempted to do more times than I can count, but I know it's here somewhere!

Send them this way next - I've spent the morning tearing through boxes and suitcases and drawers in search of a shirt DH wants to wear tonight. If I tell them there is a chocolate in the pocket maybe they'll find it????? At this point I'm convinced he must have left some stuff at his parents' house when he was staying with them before we found this house - he's just going to have to wear something else!

Well, if you tell them to look for cupcakes, they might find it. If you tell them to look for a tie, they'll look at you like you're crazy.

they still come ask me things like "Have you seen my wallet/shoes/book/phone/whatever". I'm thinking....you're 15, or 17, or 18. I've not seen your wallet for years.......that's yours to keep track of now.

And they always ask about stuff in the fridge. "Mom, do we have any sour cream?" "Yes. Middle shelf, right hand side, toward the back.".

"I can't find it!"

I've threatened to draw a map on the front of the fridge so I can give them coordinates.......

Sounds like my house -- how can I know where something is from two rooms away, give the exact location and the person standing in front of the refrigerator STILL can't see it??????

Betsy says you can never have too many carrots!

Oh, I just want to kiss that nose and breathe the sweet smell!!

I don't remember where, but at one point I saw a thing where there's a camera mounted inside your fridge, that hooks to your smart phone. So, when you're at the store, you can use your phone to see what is in the fridge, so you don't buy duplicates. We'll all chip in and get you one, LG!

Sugar Monkey has a saying...."Nothing is truly lost until your Mom can't find it".

Truer words were never spoken!

Dealing with a "No water" issue today

Oh, Phil, did you get things back up and running? No water is no fun!

Well, I guess the ups and downs of our house buying journey are over. Or suspended for a while, anyway. We can't get financed until June. Long story short, back in 2014 when I was in remission, I made too much money per disability. It's taken them this long to figure that out, and now they're not paying me for 4 months. I though it wouldn't matter, since it's going to take almost that long to get the house rehabbed, etc, but apparently it's a deal breaker for the finance guys. They'll be happy to finance me money in June.

this stinks.

I can only hope that the sellers might try listing the place and get feedback it's overpriced, and in June we can pick it up cheaper. Trying really, really hard to leave this to God and let him guide us. This living your faith is hard!

Dagnabbit, Rachel, I just hate reading that. This has already been such a trying process for you guys, the last thing you need is one more hiccup.....
