My leukemia's back.

Morning everyone!

Rachel, can we pretty please see a photo of the baby? Pretty please with sugar on it?

And a big happy birthday to LG's & OGM's boys!!!

Happy birthday to the boys.

LG, funny how specific things stay with us, like smells or songs. But wow, a mental connection between tuna and labor---Uuggh.

Happy birthday to all!

I went out to get pics earlier, I'll post in a minute from the phone. but, I forgot to latch the stall door and the older calves decided to free range themselves. I told Rosco he was fired, it's his job to watch the gate. Well, he watched them go right out and onto the lawn

. Thankfully, even though they're not halter broke, they're grain bucket broke. Took a bit to get Chuck (the little black steer calf) back in cause every time he got to the door Tater (the older heifer calf) would try to get out. And Berry (momma) is still easily agitated, so she wasn't helping.

First pic is Chuck, "free ranging" and Rosco trying to help, but he was standing between the calf and the stall I wanted him in

. Not much help.

Second is one of my favorites. It was taken with the head lamp, calf hadn't stood up yet. But he's loving on momma, and she's licking him so much.

Other pics are this morning. That's just a regular truck tire, so you can see how small he is. Honey says maybe 30ish lbs? I'm not good with estimating weights. We still need a name for him....
