So, the kids (DD/SIL) have been here for four days and, as of this evening SIL has caved and agreed that DD can have chickens --- my work here is done!

The house they bought last year has a hoop coop already in place, but he's been adamant that they are NOT getting chickens --- he's spent the last 30 minutes looking online at all the ways he an redo/improve on the existing structure and is now looking at all new setups to build from scratch instead, using the exiting one to house the birds until the new one is ready.

- does it get any sweeter????

I don't smell any good calf breath, but my sense of smell isn't the greatest any more. Nothing beats puppy breath, though

Went to the livestock auction today. Didn't buy a thing, wasn't even really tempted. If we had pasture, yeah, maybe. But we're already over crowded as it is, so no more critters. Oh, and we'll be having baby goats sometime this month.

Echo just came in and said it's snowing. I know for some of you all that's normal, but it's March for heaven's sake! I was going to try to go see my mom this week---guess not.

Pure unadulterated puppy breath should be bottled & sold. However, there is only a short window to harvest it. Then they just smell like dogs

Howdy all...
Been real busy here... Sorry I've neglected you all.
Wife turned 50 yesterday.... So I hung out with her all day... But then my truck won't start action so today will be definately be about fixing it.
I thought it was fixed.... But it was just a coincidence. Right now I have dozen by no injector pulse. So I figure it's the crank sensor. Think I'm just gonna put on in real quick and see if it starts... I don't really feel like pulling all the scopes and stuff out in this weather. Hope is a good Monday for all of you.
