Good evening Team Rachel. Hope you had a good day.

I didn't get much accomplished today, trying to recover from sitting in a waiting room all day yesterday. It was exhausting. But my dad made it through surgery and now has to heal from losing his right leg below the knee and having an abscess in the left stump. But if anyone can adjust to being a double amputee, it's him. (If the rest of his body hangs in there, that is.)

Will lift your dad and your family up to the throne room.

I apologize for my absence. The wait and watching time is over. The earth lost and heaven gained another good soul this morning. My husband's brother, and my good friend, went home earlier today. Thank you all for your prayers. Would you please continue to add his wife Loretta to your prayer list? I can't imagine how she is going to go on. He has been her world since she was young. I worry so about her. Thank the Lord she has their daughter right next door.

Father, we ask you to comfort Loretta in her loss. May you surround her with your people and may they be your hands, and speak words of comfort to her.

A couple of funny/cute photos of a chick I hatched with a piece of shell that stuck to its head, and a couple of hens that just started laying, and, I figured would lay in the nest box together, but really?? I stood there long enough to hear the top girl's egg hit the nest door..clunk..didn't break though..this time. Howdy all..... physically better today.
Lots better best pain day in a while..... of course doing a burst of prednisone probably the reason why..... had to breathing kept me awake 2 nights. Oh well was nice to feel normal for a day.

So .... kids are coming up tonight to visit.... really looking forward to hanging with the grandkids..... seeing the fireworks.
My Ayams have been keeping me busy..... got another batch of eggs in the incubator.
Anyone got plans for the 4th ?
