Thank you all again for the prayers for my husband's brother's family after his passing. Our very long day yesterday (4 hour drive to the memorial, short visit after then 4 hours in holiday traffic back north, all heading to where we are blessed to live) but I am certain all your prayers helped us to make it home safe and sound. Oh, and my little chickies I had to leave all alone in their brooder were just fine and excitedly jumped into my hands when we got home. I hurt seeing my husband so broken hearted but today he is back to his old cheery self, tho it may take a few days longer for us both seniors to physically recoup from the roadtrip so our "holiday celebrating" is going to be hiding from the invasion of the holiday vacationers. We are just blessed to be living where everyone from Milwaukee and Chicago plan all year to get to

Today is July!!I am getting old. Can't believe how fast time goes by.

Waiting on my stepson, and new girlfriend to arrive. We've never met her. Dh has been antsy all morning. He's gone through, and inspected the house twice now, to make sure I have it perfectly clean, and in order. The house is fine. He's a mess! We all want to go swimming, and it looks like rain, so I hope it either waits until they leave, or hurries up, and gets it over with.

Oh dear...I have a lump that they have been watching in my right side. Having the ultra sound done evey 6 months. It isn't getting any larger, but, it isn't getting any smaller either..just staying the same...they want to see a change, smaller of course. I got a reminder in April to go back for another, got so busy with our sick son with Spina bifida and other kids moving in, I didn't make the appt. Got another letter a few weeks ago. I think I best get in. What are they going to do for you now getaclue?Praying for you!

Good morning ....and happy July. ...can't believe how fast this year is going!

Howdy all..... physically better today.
Lots better best pain day in a while..... of course doing a burst of prednisone probably the reason why..... had to breathing kept me awake 2 nights. Oh well was nice to feel normal for a day.

My Ayams have been keeping me busy..... got another batch of eggs in the incubator.

Fingers crossed for good weather for your visit! I had a head scratcher this morning add the weather app shows "drizzle" for today so I clicked the "hour by hour" button to see when but every hour shows 0% precipitation so now I'm really confused.

I have to agree with the rest of you to comment on how fast this year is speeding by. Haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing but since that's the way it is, oh well!

@Ol Grey Mare the weather app on my phone gives me those goofy conflicting reports too. Wouldn't it be nice to have a job where you could answer just any old way (like a weatherman, lol)?

Currently, my oncologist has scheduled 2 more rounds of chemo, which will make a total of 8 rounds, which is the max I can do. I go for a Pet Scan on the 11th. We will go from there, depending on what the scan shows.

While I did not like this oncologist at first, she was encouraged with the results of my last Cat Scan, and her whole attitude has changed. That's a big plus.

We had a wonderful time with my step son, and his new girlfriend yesterday. She seems really nice.
