Good morning Team Rachel. I hope everyone has had a wonderful, restful, weekend. I know we get hummingbirds here, so I did some checking. 11 of the 16 varieties have been spotted here. I'm now checking into various things to plant that will not only beautify our yard, but feed the hummingbirds too.

I need to do the same thing. The previous owner of our house was focused on function, not aesthetics. So we have no flowers on our property. I'm slowly reclaiming areas to put in beds to soften up all the harsh angles and next year to plant things to attract pollinators.

Yes there are humming bird moths.

Those are pretty cool, if we have them, I've never seen one. I guess not all moths are night fliers.

Indeed, hummingbird moths are day feeders. As many as a dozen at a time have been feeding on the flowers on my deck this summer.

My area was hit with killing frost last night. Dead squash leaves, and white frost on a lot of the lawns on our way to church this morning. Thankfully, my garden was spared. I get an other chance to save my tomatoes, and try a batch of Bee's tomato soup!

Amazing, why did they decide to be moths instead of hummingbird? When I think of moths I think of ruined clothes, or grain etc. .The plain ones are well, just plain. But the kind in the video are pretty for a moth.
