My leukemia's back.

Morning all. Please pray for my SIL. MY dtr was sick first with pneumonia after a surgery. No doubt a gift from the hospital. Now, SIL is quite ill. He's been tested for Mono and Strep, with instructions from doc to stay home all week.

I believe we had a frost last night also. Garden somewhat spared from first 2. I still have to collect squash, bring in the last of the tomatoes, and cut and rinse herbs before drying them. I started a small fire this morning. 3 tiny little logs warmed the house nicely. Dog all excited about that activity. She was bouncing all over the place, huffing at me. "play with me! Play! Play! PLay?!"

We had awesome shepherd's pie last night: home grown potatoes, home preserved corn, though not from my garden, and left over meatloaf with mushroom sauce. cheese on top. I'm still drooling over that SP!!!

I think I might soon.... I've spent my whole adult life hanging around these bays on Lake Superior but never in a tourist type way.... As I get older I think I should do more of that.

was laughing with one of my daughters teachers this morning about the old wooden 'structure' we used to play on when i went to school there

I used to love drinking from the garden hose..... It should be a flavor...
