My leukemia's back.

Alaskan, hugs to you and your dad. So hard to see a family member suffering. Especially, when you know that they can be taking better care of themselves, but they don't. Don't beat yourself up about not being able to change him. Just love on him. Yeah, ageing process, even without the complication of cancer does seem to change the personality. Tough to see your loved one falling away by inches. Prayers for you and yours.

good update.

Appointment today said the cancer of the Esophagus is a NEW cancer, not the old one spreading.

That is very good news.

Appointment next week will tell them what stage the cancer is in, prognosis, and plan.

I'm glad it's not the old one Al, thanks for the update.

Al, are you in Texas yet? I hope this with your dad turns out good.

nah, I was there this last summer, so just a few months back.

Unless we know for sure that his health is nose-diving, I won't go back again until maybe next summer (summer 2018).

Asked my mom, the next appointment is next Friday...we will have to wait an entire week before we really know what is going on.
