I take a bunch of vitamin D..... Last time they tested my vitamin D levels they were non existent.....For a couple weeks, I've been getting tired, sleeping at weird times, not feeling rested when I sleep, waking up with night sweats, then getting cold. It dawned on me last night, those are my symptoms of low Vitamin D. While I take a multivitamin with D in it, because of the chemo, there are times my vitamin D levels drop significantly. It's usually more common in the winter months, when there is not as many daylight hours. I took an extra vitamin D last night, slept good, and woke up feeling rested, with some energy.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY......LGThis time of year.... When the sun peeks out around the cloud cover, we all bundle up just a bit more, and stop what ever we're doing so we can stare at the bright anomaly in the sky.
And many southern folks are convinced that Maine is part of Canada.
I drink a monster energy drink every day..... Got lots of vitamin B.....That reminds me, I have an unopened bottle of the B12 on the counter.
Guess just having them isn't enough? You mean, I actually have to take them?!![]()
life expectancy is 11 to 16 months. They are not sure if surgery to remove a section of his esophagus would help or not.
Other than that.... dunno.![]()
Pretty sure the VA is big on vitamin D.@Alaskan, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. It's never easy to get that kind of news no matter how old they are. You just aren't ready to say good bye to them. I hope the doctors are wrong and you have more time with him. Keeping you and him in my prayers.
Vitamin D. I take it over the winter months. I'm outside enough in the summer that I hope that is enough by who know. As we age our bodies change. DH had a VA doctor who was big on Vitamin D. He said no adult has enough and to prove it he ran a level on my husband. Sure enough, it was low and DH was a competitive cyclist so he was outside a lot.
Guess it's time to get back on it and calcium.
