My leukemia's back.

Today, Dh overheard me telling my cousin I didn't want to go for all the testing on the date they scheduled me to have them done. In all the years I've been going through this, he's never once heard me complain about going for testing, until today. He insisted I call them, and cancel. I did. I asked if they had something available in Jan. that I could get them done back-to-back, instead of having to wait a couple hours in between tests. I was scheduled to go in at 8:00 a.m., and wouldn't get finished up until around 5:00 p.m. Nope, nothing open for Jan. I suggested she look at Feb. She said it was not looking good, but to let her keep looking. I suggested March, and she delayed in her response, so I told her if she couldn't find anything, not to worry, I would call the cancer center at the university, and schedule the tests there, or Lee Moffitt cancer center. Suddenly, there was an opening in Jan., and yes I can get the tests done back-to-back. I go in at 7:30 a.m., and I'll be out by noon. I am so relieved!

I want comfort food....
but spouse is gone for a week and so can't cook for me.

Oh... I just realized, that since spouse is gone
I need to BOTH drop off and pick up kids from scouts... :he

Maybe I will grab food while I wait...

:barnie Eat alone?

Sheesh!!! I was thinking a treat of a grocery store frozen food product!

Crap.... I might have to look at humans for more than 5 minutes at a stretch. :he
You couldn't have DS1 drive them??

That is DISGUSTING!
"Oh my, we will not make a shit-ton of money for these tests, better open a spot". I guess the university or cancer center are some distance? If not I'd tell the place you are going to pound sand. And make sure whoever is in charge there knows why. There wasn't a sudden cancellation while you were on the phone.

Good morning Team Rachel. Al, sounds like the surgery went well. Thanks for the updates. I have several tests coming up on the 20th. Normally tests are just routine to me. This time is different. I'm apprehensive, and slightly dreading having to go have them done. I'm not sure why. Maybe because they were originally to be done after the first of the year, but they got moved up, and are now intruding into my Holiday time.
