My Scotty man, as I lovingly call him often, was just diagnosed with dementia yesterday.
He is my best friend. Not sure I made it clear, that it's my husband. Best thing that has happened in my life after having been in bad marriage. He's always treated me like a queen. Sure has taken care of me during this healing time of my shoulder. Keeps me from doing things I shouldn't too. I tend to find myself wanting to lift .. if he sees me, he lets me know.. not yet!@Cynthia12 good to hear from you and to find out your arm continues to improve. Thank you. I've been reading, Like I said, and I read often, that it's called the long goodbye. I'm not taking this time for granted, for sure.@Cynthia12
having experienced dementia in my family.. it sure is painful for the onlookers. It is a slow death of your loved one. So depressing.
Come here and cry and complain as much as you want. Maybe talking it through will help you deal with the loss.
SO sorry for what you are going through.
