Good morning Team Rachel. Dh ran an electrical cable out to our gate post yesterday. He's preparing things to put in our automatic gate opener. He did a great job, except he cut our internet/tv cable in the process. They will be here Friday to fix it. It's fiber-optic so you can't just splice it back together. Fortunately I can use my phone and tablet for internet and l have 4 hard drives full of movies and a huge DVD collection too. We WILL survive.

Oops. Guess he didn't know where that line was run. The guy that trenched, laid and covered the conduit for the wire from the solar panels up to the house was supposed to put some colored tape in the trench so if someone was digging in the future that would be a hint they need to be careful. He didn't have any so it is just covered up. I know where it is, at least until I start forgetting everything.

Just before Christmas, the main fiber line for UC Davis was cut in Sacramento. It took a couple of days for emergency repairs but permanent repairs went into January

Grandpa Keith was medivacte to Anchorage today due to a heart attach and they found a blood clot that is worrying them!

I'm a mess as I don't really know what's going on, and Grandpa is like the only Grandpa I have left... And I trusted him like no other person!

But they think he is stable for a bit but keeping a really close eye on him... We go up Saturday to see him.
