My leukemia's back.

May I ask what the original surgery was? I had no clue...

If I remember correctly. ..

she had a lump removed from a breast, and then an R2D2 device connected to these tubes that came out of her breast and administered chemo to specific spots.

After a few weeks of that the tubes were removed, and everything should have been fine, BUT fluid filled blisters developed inside her breast and just have NOT gone away and cause her pain.

They tried time and drugs and needle aspiration (I think) to get them to go away... all failed ..... finally gave up and went to surgery to clean out all of the gunk pockets. Only one breast involved. I think her right .

@FridayYet How did I do? Correct me where I messed up. :hugs

Awesome! :highfive: Had to finish work before responding because that would have been too much to type in-between charts.

Minor point - the catheters were for radiation seeds that the robot would put in and out of each catheter, twice a day for 5 treatment days.

Tried to do internal radiation instead of external since the course was much shorter, less radiation, and I was still taking care of my dad last summer. Hindsight says I probably should have gone with external radiation, but no way to tell in advance that I was going to have a complication.

:hugs You'll get into the routine pretty quick. It's scary when you don't know what will happen, but after the first one it should be pretty easy.

Mann... SMH... Mom got a seed perminantly placed... I am sure it was a different setup.. That just hurts thinking of it.

Hope they chase down that infection....
