Yes, you can get internal shingles. I hope the diagnosis is right. That would explain a lot of her lung problems. It's easier to deal with shingles than lupus. Still praying.

Well given as long as she has purportedly had 'shingles', they were predicting another 3 or 4 days in 'isolation'. Frankly , I don't know what to believe.

If she did have shingles, would that be indicative of something that can go along with lupus?

I don't know. I do know that when she had chicken pox, it was a severe case.
