Al, looser pants, cotton underwear. Helps with swamp butt, and crotch rot. What the heck is going on with #4? Your kids are normally pretty healthy. Hope it's not serious.

Thanks you two! :hugs

Kid's fever is down this morning.. I know likely to come back later... but I will take what I can get.

Another marathon day .... funeral service, jillion guests, 4 hour drive, another service, burial, meal, more people and visiting etc.

Al, a good one to try for that malady is Anti Monkey Butt powder, it has calamine in it (plus the name is just fun :p)

Very popular in FL, we used to find it in hardware stores, drug stores, etc.

How's your mom doing Al?

Went to see the Neuro I've been waiting to see for a while! Finally, the big follow up after my hospital stay. My breathing.. thinks it's a mechanical thing. ?? Not anxiety. Had a lot of blood drawn... In the meantime I'm having a CT too for something. He spent a good hour and a half in there with me. Really thorough examination. Said my lower legs are definitely not right with the testing he was doing on me, and of course how I walk, like a drunk, with twisted leg walking.. But here's what he's thinking....Occipital neuralgia, puriphial neuropathy, Myelopathy, and possible low B12 and low copper in my body. What? Had a lot of blood drawn today. Will have a CT done. If blood work doesn't come back with what he is thinking, then another MRI, of the upper spine and neck area. Doesn't think it's MS at this point.

That is promising news!

Ha! I will have to look for that. Just went commando today.

Service was awesome ... eldest did a bunch of readings and did a great job.

My mom! She is holding up... but about to break down... I can tell. We asked her where she wants to sleep tonight (the burial is 4 hours away from her home), she said she would decide later.

Ah well, none of us cared.... we are packed up so we can grab a hotel out there. ... or whatever. And no, we will not let her drive home... my older sis is driving her out, and we will stay either at a hotel close to the monastery, or at my younger sister's, or at a hotel close to my younger sister.

My kid #3 broke down after the service... I had such a time getting him to eat something (and he hadn't had breakfast either). But he is better now. At the end of the service I think we were all crying. .. but I could still eat...

It was a fantastic service, all sorts of people came. A family friend from Germany, a priest from switzerland, a bishop from Pennsylvania, a priest from Washington state, and many more. The deacon who was serving kept choking up... the bishop almost started to bawl at the end, but then managed to hold it back. The priest from Washington was crying to beat the band..... it was nice, gotta say it sure was nice, seeing so many people who loved and cared so deeply for my dad.
