My leukemia's back.

Blooie it depends on style of chair, there are some bench types that straddle the tub wall so if yo can sit and lift your leg straight (or high enough to get it over the tub wall a foot or foot and a half?) you could sit raise, slide, raise, slide and your in. if you have a chair kind hopefully it has at least 1 arm (some have no arms some with 1 or 2 arms) you can reach grab one arm and slowly lower yourself to the seat (for saftey sake) and do similar as stated above. I have a family member who uses 1.
Nice!

Lightning does some crazy things. When we were little, my dad used to sit on the back screen porch and watch the lightning storms come through. Once when I was out there with him, lightning struck a huge old elm in the neighbors yard and we watched it fall over. I am not a storm chaser, but I don't mind watching the lightning show once in a while.

Oh, okay Bruce....you can be a cyber-Uncle since, given the time zones, you were at least awake when our precious Ashton Scott was born.

@oldrooster Mine is just the one that sits in the tub, no arms on it. I have to be able to get into the tub to sit on it. I’ll have to see if I can find the one you’re talking about. A straddle one won’t work, because it would have to be pre-positioned in the right spot in the tub and where the part that would be outside the tub would sit, that’s right where the toilet is. These old mobile homes have the laundry in crammed into the bathroom, so there just isn’t any additional space anywhere. But if I don’t use it now, we’re darn sure getting to the age where we soon will. Thanks!

Lightning struck the ground, and the whole row of trees were killed. That's why they had all the trees cut down.

But if I don’t use it now, we’re darn sure getting to the age where we soon will.
Ken can rig up an electric hoist.
Shower chair on the outside
Blooie puts her butt in the chair
Blooie pushes the proper button and is lifted into the tub
:D

At our old apartment complex, Dh and I were sitting on the balcony watching the storm, and lightning struck the roof of the next apartment building. It looked like an animal tunneling under the shingles, ripping them off, then it finally blew a huge hole in the roof, causing a fire. It was raining hard enough it wasn't a threat outside, and it was raining inside the apartment, but the fire dept. came, since it could have caused a fire somewhere inside. It didn't, but everything in the living room of the apartment was ruined.
