My leukemia's back.

Where you going this trip B? I'm sure you've said but I can't keep up with your travel schedule :p

Most importantly, when are you coming back?
See below! And do you mean coming back permanently or coming back to wash clothes, repack, and leave again?

@Blooie, was Katie's event last night?
Nope, it’s tonight, and I’m gonna miss it. She was disappointed, as am I, but being a little All-Things-Grand-Lodge junkie, she understand completely. I’ll miss Kendra’s next Tuesday night too.

You need a white board calendar, I think it needs to cover about 9 months.
We are leaving today. Ken has a VA appointment tomorrow morning in Sheridan, and he has a visitation scheduled in Sheridan tomorrow night. That’s why I wanted to just stay put and not drive back the other night. Then Thursday morning we leave Sheridan and head for Newcastle, where his visitation is scheduled for that night. When they’re done, we’ll drive as far as Gillette, spend the night there, and come home Friday morning.

It has been a lot to keep track of, and is slowing down considerably now. By the end of this month he will have visited 36 of the 42 Lodges in the state, which no other Grand Master has done. He has a few visitations in January, but he is a member of each of those so he normally (when he’s not GM) attends those monthly anyway. When it’s all done, he’ll be the only GM to have visited every Lodge in the state.

But in January our out-of-state stuff starts....Grand Lodge of Utah in January, Grand Masters’ Winter Reunion, also in January, in February the National Conference of Grand Masters (in South Dakota this year), Rocky Mountain Conference, and Grand Lodge events in Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Arizona, and (we hope) Calgary, Canada. We are thinking of assigning his next in a Command, the Deputy Grand Master, as Ken’s official rep for the Grand Lodges in Colorado and Nebraska, since Tom lives in Cheyenne and those are closer for him than for us. Otherwise we’ll be hot footing it from there up to the northern states. But Tom still works, so it depends on scheduling. We also have the Grand Chapter of Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Job’s Daughters, Grand Chapter of Demolay, two Shrine Ceremonials, the two Scottish Rite Reunions, the Reunion of the Royal Order of Scotland, (didja know that in addition to his other Masonic activities, he is a genuine Knight, with his patent from Edinburgh signed by a for-really Duke and everything) and we’re supposed to go to Washington, DC in late spring to place the memorabilia of Wyoming in the Nation’s Capitol? Think we’ve coerced the Grand Secretary into taking that one because we have a slight scheduling conflict, and the GS has family living there anyway. In August is our Grand Lodge, the Big 4 day bash Ken and I have to throw to mark the end of our Grand Lodge Year and turn it all over to Tom and his wife Cindy. One final big event for the year, Grand York Rite Sessions, but we always do that anyway since hes’s Grand Recorder, Grand Secretary for Council and Chapter.

In between we have some Cornerstone ceremonies and other, smaller activities we have to attend. Jeepers.....I don’t know why you have trouble keeping up. I’ve got it down, even without a white board! :th

12 kids here between the 2 of us. Money was tight at times for sure. DH ended up working 2 jobs..one part time. Our kids paid for everything ...big..that they wanted. Cars, education. We have 3 nurses in the family, one, just got her nurses degree a few years back, with 3 children. She's worked at the State Hospital for close to 25 years, that's Utah County's Mental hospital. Started low on the totem pole, now a nurse and a boss. She will have a great retirement plan. Another daughter is in the the delivery room helping deliver babies, while another daughter is in the NICU in the same hospital. Teacher, truck driver, a son that has worked in the nursing facility and in charge of the diet area for years, another is in occupational therapy, big big boss there, all own their own homes but our son with Spina Bifida. Rents, not sure if he could handle owning a home. At least he's out on his own. Ok. Bragging done, hope point taken. These kids worked hard while getting where they are today. Had a great example in watching dad take care of them. We had fun doing the camping, fishing, hiking. Going to Disneyland was a treat. Now they are making their own memories with their families and making us grandparents, and, great grandparents. Just found out that we have another great on the way! Sharing a photo from Thanksgiving Day. This isn't even half of our family, at one of our sons home. Come Christmas, we will have to reserve a church building to get is all in. Whoot! ..ok.a couple of photos. Sure would be fun to see some of yours too!View attachment 1598525 View attachment 1598526 View attachment 1598527 View attachment 1598528 We have a lot to be grateful for!
My son worked hard for what he has too... But it worries me it came too easy... But I'm not sure why it worries me. But the term easy come easy go comes to mind. He's only 36 and tells me he's up for V.P. of ambulatory services for all nine hospitals that Munson owns.... He does have a PHD. So I guess he's qualified..... But he went from a nightshift nurse.... To teaching.... To nurse manager.... To director of nursing..... Now up the ladder again.... It's all dizzying to me.
I'm proud of him..... But I also realize that I see this success and use it to point out my failure.

Anybody ready for a Fiona update? Too bad, I’m doing it anyway! I wear a size 10 shoe....that’s my foot by her head!!

What a beautiful dog you have my friend.
We just got home from a trip to Traverse City to see the grandkids.... My two dogs were so good.... I'm proud of them.
My wife spent the whole time puking.... That's three out of the last four trips this had happened......I told her to go to the doctor and ask her what she thinks.
But our oldest dog laid at the foot of the bed ..... Our little Seven had a blast with the kids.... He loves kids and we don't have any so whenever he can hang with children he's there.... Good little Weiner dog he is....

Good evening folks, we had a private showing the undertaker found out the twin sister was throwing a major hissey fit so he said even tho it was not technically legal he said he'd clean mom up dress her and drop her in a coffin for a short-half hour for family only viewing for us kids and her. He nearly flipped his lid to find out that 2 brothers and a s-i-l showed up. twin was throwing a tantrum because mom wasn't "prettied up" well you were told she was washed, hair combed and dressed and dropped in a box (I'm so tired of it I'll stick to brass tacks if you don't mind) then because of discoloring due to decomp (she's been on ice since late sunday but some decomp is expected) and sis was mad because she thought mom's nails were painted, and it was a "sin" to have painted nails esp. painted purple. she thought they did that because her outfit was purple. Mom Loved purple her sister hated it. I almost asked if she wanted to join her but I held my tongue.
