My leukemia's back.

We have dropped down to the single digits. :sick better than negatives, but I prefer a nice solid 25-ish (cold enough to keep the snow from turning to ice)

Anyway... the muscovy don't like it this cold. :(

How are you doing Al? Glad you popped in!

Do you do anything special for the muscovy in the winter?

When it gets this cold we switch to tiny water pots... so NO bathing.

We had to bring one in yesterday and warm her feet up a bit, let her sleep in the house overnight... she is going back out now that it is noon and we are warmed up to the teens.

We have 3 pullets in the bathroom... didn't get them acclimated soon enough. ... yeah, they are FREE RANGING in the bathroom. :sick

thinking about free ranging near a potty EEEEEWWWWWW. why? if for some reason your sprinting to the throne and something falls where it ought not and the chickens get to it. that's more than enough on that thought. eeeeeewwwwww.......
They are in the boys bathroom. MY bathroom is still poultry free.

I hope you've predator-proofed that bathroom...sure wouldn't want anything grabbing a pullet or two :gig

So muscovy are more sensitive to cold than other ducks?
