My leukemia's back.

I uploaded a video of Kendra with her talker. She had been sent home from school that day and we happened to be home so we just went and picked her up. The school tends to panic when she has more than one seizure in an hour and she was already up to three, so I got the call. Anyway, at first she was singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" - repeatedly. Then she started talking about horses, and I kept asking her what a horse eats. She found the phrase "what are you eating" about the time I started the recording. Then she typed in a line from the song, got distracted when she started to type "up above the world so high" and typed "flute" instead, then found the flute on her talker. It all happens pretty fast, but you can clearly see she totally understands what the talker is for!

Good luck Phil, I'm sure life will be improved on the not too distant future.

Well, there ya go, Bruce...ain't ya sorry you asked? :gig
Not in the slightest!!!! Poor Kendra with all those seizures. One will wipe a person out, but that many clustered together? :thNice to hear the good news parts with all the testing.

Ya think???

Her "talker". She VERY clearly knows her sentence structure and the keys. I noticed she hit the E when only the barest minimum of white below it was showing. She KNOWS it is above the I, no sense scrolling to show the letter before pressing it. :love
