My leukemia's back.

Cancer. My hubbies brother was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year. Removed part of his stomach. Just this month he had a tumor removed from by his belly button. They also removed a tumor from inside his colon. They were thinking ..it.. Looked good. I can see the tumor near the surface of his stomach being a benign ..lypoma tumor. My husband has them, so do 2 other brothers of his. But, the one in his intestine? Worried. No word back yet on results.. and this was done at the first part of the month. :hmm. A younger brother.

Cynthia, if he was diagnosed with stomach cancer only a year ago, he should still be getting CT scans on a fairly regular basis. Normally, a good oncologist, when anything new develops, they'll order an MRI as well. All test results should have been in already.

Blooie,
One of these would get you there.

So sorry.

:hugs and :fl

Cynthia, sometimes I come across wrong. It's automatic that I'm sorry to hear news like that, and automatic that I'll pray for your hubby's brother. BUT if I don't say it, how do you know that? I had already moved on to why they're dragging their feet with his test results, which gives the impression I have no compassion. Please know that I am very sorry to hear this news, and he's in my prayers. :hugs I hope too, that they get the test results soon.

And Ken and I worked ourselves to total exhaustion trying to get his events scheduled so we got many of them done before winter set in. Yeah, right. Our calendar is full, and we’ve got THIS to contend with. Those are all passes we need to take, starting on June 2nd, mostly over the Bighorn Mountains.

I hope the tests are in soon!

:hugsIt is hard to live with not knowing the results

Cancer is a scary word. Hope the B-I-L hears good news soon. They have come so far in treatment, praying for good results and a wonderful outcome!

Prayers for all who are dealing with health issues. You guys are my rock!

@Blooie - you be safe out there. I know you guys are seasoned winter drivers, but still praying for your guardian angels to have snowshoes on!

I made the mistake of answering the phone without checking caller ID and it was mom's twin sister the one who's harassed me most since her death. And after I got off the phone with her I came to suspect either she has dementia (or similar disease) or is mentally ill (one sister has bi-polar). I was thinking about this whole pile of fertilizer they spread, I know out of 8 kids including mom, 3 are/were diagnosed with dementia (mom was one) 3 have been diagnosed with depression (one also has dementia) 1 bipolar so 6/8 are diagnosed with something. and it appears the other 2 have something. I am glad now I never had kids to spread that stuff to them, and they don't have to see me go mentally off when I get old.
