My leukemia's back.

Right now, they are thinking in terms of weeks.

BB2K and I drove up to see her today. While we were there, the conversation turned to the fact that Friday is my parents' 61st wedding anniversary. Mom said,"we should have a party."

So, friends and family of Tom and Wynell are now invited to gather at dining room #2 of the hospital cafeteria at 2:00 on Friday afternoon to help them celebrate (as Mom said) 60 plus 1 years together. Dad is thinking maybe 20 people, but I'm wondering if he's going to need a bigger cake . . . .

I hope it is a good time for all!

:hugsIt will be bitter sweet though

My mom died 7-12-96 after a second bout of breast cancer that spread. She was 77.
She refused chemo & radiation the first go round but she took tamoxifen. She was on it 11 years. Of course after that time they said it hadn't been studied in long term use but, after 5 yrs. of treatment - women would get recurrences of the disease. So there's that!!
:rant:mad::hit

How is she doing? Pain-wise, brain- wise...and emotionally?

And you?

This sure is a huge shift.

61 years of marriage is awesome! :hugs
