Say WHAT????? Do you have a peephole, so you can look through the door at whoever is out there, before you open it? At that time of morning, if you don't know who it is outside, don't answer your door. If it's someone from the office, or official business, they'll come during business hours. In this case, you opened the door. "Keep stepping" is the correct response in this situation.
