Maybe she will go way for awhile and leave you alone. Arrested of detox!
 
I understand each state, and even counties can be somewhat different, but there tends to be some common factors too. Here, all apartment complexes, and trailer parks that rent trailers, not just lots, have to allow 25% of the units to rented to those with section 8 housing, those on public assistance, and low income families. Depending on the situation, the government pics up the entire bill, or the balance of the sliding scale. Section 8 publishes a listing of properties that are available, or about to be, so those already approved have the ability to move into better facilities. It takes time, since the nicer places tend to keep tenants longer, and they are in higher demand, but given time, it does provide an opportunity to move into a nice place. I'm not sure how it works there, but you might do some checking, and it's worth a shot to be able to get into a safer place, in time. Another option, if you have any type of mental, or physical disability they have to provide a safer environment for you. Check the next county over, in the surrounding counties too.
 
Man I'm having a hard day. Just needed to come on and vent. My DH is declining. Having a hard time carrying on a conversation with him anymore. It makes me so sad after having a hard morning with him not making much sense, and not understanding me. The worst day he's had...hoping he has those..good days come back. At least once in a while. Asking for prayers, that I can be strong for him.
