I also cleaned the coop out before I left.... now I equate moping too....i being Lazy.
I am not moping I am depressed....I an extremely sad tti the point im not sure I will survive... but I am trying and I'm getting through my days.... but not moping at all.

Phil, I'm sorry I used the word moping. I just couldn't think of a better one at the time. I did not mean to offend, or upset you. I especially did not mean to imply laziness. You are far from lazy. I apologize for my poor word choice.

Good grief, that's a LOT of snow. Would a snow blower work for some of that? Hey, I'm in Florida, and had very limited exposure to it, so I don't know a lot about it, other than what I've seen, or heard from others. It sure seems like a lot of work though. I'd be aching for two weeks, if I had to shovel even half of that.

If I make it Till summer I plan to put slanted metal roof up there..... self shedding.
The roof of my house doesnt hold snow at all. It slides right off

My husband put that metal roofing on our coops, at an angle. Works great for keeping the snow at bay. Just have to make sure you know what the snow will be piling up on, or where. lol
