My leukemia's back.

Had to get all those shots over though when i got my bone marrow transplant....
I guess that would be necessary unless one happened to know that the donor was immune.

How are you doing this week Phil? I think about you often.

Really need to get the shingles vaccine.
YES!!!! Shingles was one, if not THE most painful experiences in my life.

I remember when the fever broke because it was accompanied by a really weird dream that is still vivid in my mind.
Which of course you will now relate to us, right? ;)

My guess is that you followed up with daily nit removal. That is the only way to really get rid of them-- along with bagging up all of the stuffed animals, washing in hot water and drying the bedding and spraying the mattress with bug spray. The bedding treatment needs to be repeated every 5 days for several weeks and the stuffed animals need to stay in the bags for a month
I remember the kids being a little sad over the stuffed animals beings bagged. And...I washed everything!!!! Sprayed all furniture.

With the flu shot, each year you get it your immune system gets a bit better at fighting off the strains.

Survival goes up too and age is a big factor with those that die from influenza. Sadly, too many myths keep people from getting the flu vaccine
When I had to make that trip to the ER last week for chest pain/heart... I was sick with the upper respiratory stuff. I told them I would wear a mask..lol..then asked If they were seeing a lot of flu. They said they had only seen a couple of cases of the..real flu. Meds helped.

Reread my post. It sounded like I went in for a cold! Nope..lol.. wouldn't do that. But had a darn good one going on at the time. Changed my post..my cold is better, but my darn chest and throat did it again last night. Used the nito again. Worked, not as good as the first time. I actually have an appointment with my Dr. today for a couple of other things. Guess I'll let him know what's going on.
