My leukemia's back.

Well, here I are!! Phil, I got wind of what happened and I did scroll back. Everyone opened their hearts to you beautifully and there’s just nothing I could add that wouldn’t be the same things they’ve said. So I’ll just send you my heartfelt sympathy and prayers for you to find that amazing strength you used to help Rachel over her fearful times. Laughter is still inside you. And by golly I’ll bring it out if I have to dress up like a chicken and carry an “eat more beef” sign on Main Street here in Cowley. Oh, wait. Never mind. It’s Cowley. It’s me. Nobody would even blink or look twice. 💋

I’m glad to be back, but feel terrible that I’ve been gone so long. This thread is still so remarkable active, as is the other birthday one, that I‘m going to sit back and learn by osmosis instead of trying to catch up!
Does this mean that you are back home for a bit, with your feet up on a cushion?

Yeah, I’m home. Ken finished his Grand Lodge year in August. I just felt worn out, and sick off and on. I was just diagnosed on January 31 with Stage 4 kidney disease. So I’m trying to accept that after watching my sister die slowly of kidney failure and dialysis just 2 years ago. I just had too much on my plate to come in here and act like nothing was wrong, especially since I didn’t know what to say.

Anyway, mill pop in for visits when I can. Missed you all way too much to walk away for good ! :caf
