I have tried and tried to figure these bantams out. I have searched online and through every book I can find. I figured with their blue ear patches, it wouldn't be hard and I was told once they were probably Black Dutch. I thought that was right until I looked back at Cackle Hatchery and they don't sell them.
So...I give up!! Please help.

Cackle has these...some have been omitted as I am familiar enough with them that I know they are not possibilities. These are the others they have listed:
AMERICANA ... I figure these are EE's
CUBALAYA
JAPANESE
PHOENIX
OLD ENGLISH GAME
ROSECOMB
WHITE FACED BLACK SPANISH

Mine have black faces and feet. They also have brilliant blue ear patches, both sexes. Single combs. White on their throats and the roo has white on down between his breasts.
Below are pictures of the pullet and the roo.

Roo (2 pics)

I hadn't planned on keeping these two chicks. Actually there were 3 but I gave one away...it was another, smaller roo. I went out to the chick pen and was watching them when the above little roo came over, hoped in my lap, and promptly laid down...can't let a sweetie like that go. So, I have decided to keep him and the little lady.

But...what are they???? If they are OEGB, what color?? I know black, but all black?
Thank!!!

I have a one of these. And as far as i know they are OEG
if it were cubalaya then the cock should be getting redder feathers and such, and the pullet should have some red on her chest
Pheonix have longer tails
WFBS: they dont have any white on their face to qualify

I had kindof figured it wasn't some of the ones I listed above, but I haven't seen most of those as chicks and don't know how much it will change.

They wont change much :)
most likely they will just get shinier feather

Yep...they look a bit scrappy right now. I don't keep them up. They stay in their house or open pen and I usually let them out of the pen during the day...we have 6 1/2 acres and my Aussie dogs help keep all of the chickens under control....well somewhat...and the best one for herding is just learning...good thing they are smart and fast learners!!
TY!!
