My little "blue" silkie. I think "she" might be a "he".

I was told this little one is a Blue Silkie and expected it to be a hen but we are starting to question. Looks very different from my other Silkie but they are supposed to be the same age, about 20 weeks now. Which ever this little one is the sweetest and I often refer to it as my "lap chicken"! I would love to get some opinions on its gender.
Thanks from a new, new newbie!
Update, this little one is crowing now so I guess its official! Its a Roo! I also refer to this one as my lap chicken cause he is so friendly!

Are you going to keep him? Last year, one of the three chicks I raised turned out to be a roo...I was really sad to have to give him away. But our neighbors didn't want to be woken up at 4 am , for some weird reason.

This little guy is the sweetest and he is crowing now. I am lucky that I am surrounded by about 50 Acres of woods so no one is going to complain. My biggest concern is that I have ended up with two roos the other one is a large EE. So far not too much conflict but I think I will have to separate them. The best part of that idea is getting more silkies to complete a separte flock. And having room to add some more standard breed hens to the original flock. More chickens sound great to me. My husband isn't convinced! Wish me luck!

Just now saw your post. This little guy has confirmed himself a roo. He's been crowing over a week now! Still a sweetie! He's got a better crow that my big EE.
I see you are interested in D'uccle. I had no idea what they were but recently had the opportunity to "meet" some at a small animal sale at the local Tractor supply. The lady was practically giving them away. There was one lovely pair I really liked that were kind of pearl color with a golden collar if that makes sense. I would consider getting some in the future my self! Good luck with your search.

almost sounds like a porcelain which is the Millie Fleur pattern diluted by lavender. i have 4 different colors golden neck, millie, porcelain, and lavender
