Just thought I would update on William, he has two little spikes where his tail should be so it looks like he is going to grow another one, he does seem to pick at his bottom area a bit so I hope he doesn't pull them out ! I have altered his cage so he now only has the top half, I have put his favourite perches in there but it just means that if he has a fall he only has a short way to go, one less thing for me to worry about
