My little finch died

She passed this morning. She was a 7 year old zebra finch and was still laying eggs as of a few months ago. I'll miss you little Millie, and so will your mate, Dutch. Good-bye and good journey.

I have a big flight cage and one day hope to fill it with finches, their so neat.

Thanks so much everyone, it means a lot to hear your condolences. Her mate, Dutch, is not doing too well today. He's doing lots of plantive chirping. Even the smallest of creatures can have feelings.
