Great intro, Stevie, and lovely flock! Plymouth Rock is the name of the breed, which comes in many colors. "Barred" is another word for "striped." So what you have is Barred Plymouth Rocks, or Barred Rocks for short.

Hey thanks so much for clarifying that for me, makes sense, there's so much conflicting info on the net it's sometimes hard to know what's right or not

Thank you, I love my Silkies. I would guess they would be called chocolate? I have some buff silkie eggs in transit, going to try incubating some more. I'm a wee bit excited, to put it mildly.
