My little helper

Anytime I am out working in coop or run my tiny little hen Lucy is constantly sitting in my lap or under my feet wanting me to pick her up. I think she was telling my ducklings what I was doing today because she was just clucking to them. I couldn't fine a sweeter helper than her.
Let me see your little helpers.

Everytime I am doing construction on the coop or something else my Lilly needs to check it out and hang around. The power tools don't scare her at all. Many times I have been running my circular saw to have Lilly walk right under it and get a sawdust bath.

Okay. Had to jump in on this.
My little chicken helpers are so NOT helping me!!! They keep invading the coop under construction. And my boy flogged me yesterday because I kept tossing his girls out and gave him a little shove to get out himself.

They're still helpers. But there is definitely such a thing as Too Much Assistance!
