My little helpers!

I spent part of the afternoon weeding. I had many, many attentive helpers once they figured out I was turning up worms and bugs.

Mine get part of the way to the garden and wander off in all directions. I have threatened an oxen type, joint harness, but they are unimpressed.

They were very enthusiastic about the whole process.

I am considering putting a temporary coop in the veggie garden. These were the beds around the coops. I'm planning on putting in strawberry plants. The little goobers will eat some of them, but perhaps they will save a few for me.

My chicks were also enjoying some of the nice weather we had today...ate a few worms, too.
