I reduced a beagle to braying last night and it sure wasn't being brave! I stopped at PetSmart to pick up some treats for my ferrets. A lady was there showing off her beagle. I asked if I could pet it. The dog took one sniff of my hand, looked at my face, and started braying and would not stop! She literally had to drag that braying beagle backwards out of the store as all he wanted to do was stand there and bark at me.
My offense? I'm sure it was the ferret smell on my hands.
Everyone at the front of the store was laughing their heads off!
