I asked at the feed store where I bought the stock tank. They gave me the "fittings" I needed to install a drain plug. They called them a Boiler Drain and a flange. They were about $6 a piece, so less than $20 to do it. I just drilled a hole in the side near the bottom, screwed in the fittings and put a hose bib on it. I just hook up a short hose, turn the valve and use their grungy water to water my lawn! So much easier than trying to dump it. The fittings
