If you call the sod farm, ask if they sell the sod that gets rejected for a discount. Otherwise i am pretty sure its unreal for price.

FYI: just want to pass this along. Stock up on the 'forever stamps' because i heard the price is going up this fall.
The last increase , (i was told) was from the airlines, not the P.O.
Now the P.O. is going to be getting their turn. So remember they made these forever stamps and you can still use them after without adding the one centers on. It cant hurt to stock up anyway, but i heard from a pretty reputable source.

I love your roo! He is beautiful. If he were mine I Would name him Freckels! That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw him. Just my suggestion.

I think a good name would be Reese's because colours are like a Reese's Peanut butter cup.

I'll have to look for a sod farm because my front yard looks like crap...mud and moss and dirt.

What an awsome idea and deal! That is so why I let mine out to free range, they love it and are so happy. I take my chances with the hawk and in the summer they have plenty else to eat. That sod is beautiful, there is no comparing that to the grass in my yard! It looks plush enough to take a nap on. Your chickens are beautiful too, love the rooster and see why you want to keep him. One of my Barred Rocks I believe will be a rooster and so far he seems nice so we will see. Again awsome idea and nice pictures.
