My lungs aren't having it

I'm so sorry. I hope you are able to find homes for them, if you can get word out wide enough, I'm sure you will. Wish I was closer, I'd take them! Florida is way to far. :(
Thank you. Just found out that the owner of a local garden nursery has a wonderful daughter-in-law who will take them all. She and her husband live nearby on a 5 acre farm with all kinds of animals. I feel so unbelievably grateful. I think they'll have a better life than I could offer with having them in a run, even though it's a very nice run. Thanks again.

I would also encourage you to see a doctor if you haven't, lung health is nothing to mess around with. Good luck with everything and feel free to hang around even if you don't have birds, we have lots of other fun discussions and would love to have you!
Thank you. Unfortunately, fibrosis has no treatment other than corticosteroids. Avoidance of irritants is the only intervention.

You've probably already heard this but do you have good quality true HEPA air cleaners in your home? I have lung problems, too, and with the epic levels of dust and irritants in the desert I have several true HEPA cleaners all around the house and they run 24/7.

Hello All,
Turns out my lungs are becoming damaged, which probably started before getting my chicks, but now has become a very real and now chronic issue. I have eight four month old pullets, four beautiful German Bielefelder and four Salmon Favorelle. I need to rehome them. I live on the coast in Mendocino, California. If you are interested or know someone who is, please respond. This is heartbreaking, and hard to come to turns with, but it's necessary. Thank you
So sorry. I hope you will be OK. 🙏
