My Mallards

i have had both a female an a male mallard since they were tiny babies they have been able to fly now for about a month an ahalf yesterday my female flew off i cant find her an my male is so lonley i talk to him an ask him weres my girl ? an he just quaks and follows me like a lost puppy i feal so bad will she come back ? im worried myself how she will eat an so forth
