My momma shoulda named me grace

I thought this pic might be appreciated in this thread. Several months ago we had kittens (the latest pregnant stray to give birth). My 7 y/o and I were playing with them. I decided to put one down just as he was picking one up. I met the top of his head in a most unpleasant fashion. I looked like this for what seemed forever!!!!

Once I was finishing up painting and trying to pull the roller off the metal frame... I pulled SO hard, that when it came off it hit me smack in the mouth! My lip bled and turned purple. It was right when friends were coming over for New Years, too.

The day before yesterday I forgot some cookies in the oven and went hauling to the kitchen at a dead run. As I turned the corner, I didn't turn like It thought I would... I don't even remember falling, I was just on the floor. My left hip, upper thigh, shoulder, and wrist all are sore now.

...I took ballet for six years, too. I'm not ditsy every day, but once in a while it all catches up to me, ya know?

luvmychicknkids- That's some nasty bruise!

I am not graceful at all! I fall everyday doing random things

BUT I have never ever fallen out of a pickup truck nor will I ever. I was 3minutes from being born in a pickup truck!

Wow, I sure have a lot of "cousins" out there!! I know I'm related to all of you

I currently have a broken toe--hit it on the bathroom door in the middle of the night. It's the second time I did this, the exact
same way

My excuse is that our bathroom is small and the door swings the "wrong" way and that's why it happened--this excuse doesn't fly with DH since he's 6'2 and wears size 12, and has never done this!!!

I fall ALL THE TIME!! I fall in the house, the chicken coop (just last week), putting clothes in the dryer *that one HURT!, the best one was when I was pg with ds (3 yrs old now) and I slipped in the coop I had 2 options which was to either his the ground or aim for the duck pool. I landed butt first right in the pool! Thankfully I just washed it out and was clean water

and neither me nor ds were hurt.

My mom always told me that she should have named me Grace for the same reason. The thread title caught my eye because of that. We can't all be graceful!

LOL! I have the same problem! People at work were joking that I was hurting myself for attention! The nurses would cringe when I used the shredder! Unfortunately my poor daughter has inherited this from me, but she is ten times worse!

She has fallen down the stairs so many times that her elbow is going to need plastic surgery!

My poor graceful baby! I knew she should never live in a house with stairs, but I thought that since she was a teenager she would be ok! Wrong!

I got it from my Mama! Once when I was a little girl my parents were having an argument. Mom tried to walk away from it but my Dad put his hand out to stop her. She jerked back to avoid his hand. She fell backwards on to the bed, bounced off into the wall, then hit the floor. Naturally after recovering from a moment of shock my Dad burst into laughter. Mom was so mad she got up to storm out of the room and ran into the door frame.
