I think I have a picture of one of my sons looking a lot like the middle chick (the one with a two-tone mowhawk and black eye). He went through that phase at about 12, and thankfully it was a short one. The child lived (grew to adulthood even), and I was not imprisoned for murdering an extremely annoying, loud, obnoxious, pre-teen. I don't know if yours will outgrow it so quickly though.
