My cousin and brother in law drive the same road to work every morning. They find a van crashed in to a tree this morning. The driver is out of it an laying across the front seat. A gun is in the floor. Not an issue normally. Everyone here has one in the car. They call 911 an try to talk to him.
I get woken up by the radio traffic an drive over to help. It takes a while for people to drive up the mountain to help but the guy was out of it the whole time. EMS an LEO show up at the same time. very quickly put handcuffs on the man an get the gun out of his reach. He starts coming too right after that. They then inform me that he is wanted in 2 states. I watch them later cut a handcuff key off his necklaces.

I live in the middle of nowhere where people don't lock their doors. But even here this is reality an why I have a gun on my hip at all times. Would he have hurt me to get away? I still have no reason to think he would but I don't know. Just like when I got in my car this morning I didn't know I was going to help an armed, wanted man. He was just a neighbor in need.
