I plan on getting some long haired mice later on.

AWESOME! I had two pet mice for awhile, but I gave one to my cousin because they started fighting because they were both males and then my lil Snickers died last week

I was going to get a male and female when i first got them but I thought the females would get mean if they had babies, is that true? or what do you do with your females?

I've never had a female get mean after a litter. Sometimes they can be nippy with a litter,but its becouse they think you are going to hurt the babies,but thats rare.
I wish male mice were like male rats and could be housed together. I always think they they are loney,but they cant be housed with other males or with females all the time unless you want a ton of babies,lol.

I like it!
On the Syrian hamsters-the purple print on the dark background is difficult to read. Lightened up on the other pages, it works really well.
Good luck with this. I think it is a great idea.
